DaveLigthart.com is a professional WordPress Development Company

Are you looking to create a new design for your website and don’t know where to start?
That’s exactly what we’re good at.
We have a strong design department that is able to accomodate all your graphic needs.
If you are looking to have a custom WordPress theme or plugin built or you want to hire a php all-round web developer.
You’re at the right place.

Web Design Process

First we start by creating a custom design preview specifically for you.
If you like our preview proposal we will continue refining the design to your satisfaction.
Once the design is approved we will start the theme creation phase.

In this phase we will transform the design into a fully functioning (hand coded) WordPress theme,
SEO optimized and conforming to the latest standards in HTML5. We also use CSS3 where possible with backwards browser compatibility (IE7 and above, Firefox, Chrome, Safari, iOS)

The completed theme will be presented to you on our demo system for a final feedback round.
Upon your approval the theme will be transferred to your hosting environment and we will ensure that everything functions correctly.

About Dave Ligthart

Back in 2000 I started with University (Hogeschool of Amsterdam) to get a Bachelor of ICT degree. Working through C++ and Java programming classes and attended courses at the University of Amsterdam on sociology. I got my degree in 2004 and graduated with flying honors. In 2004 I started a company called Framemakers Software Development which was focused on creating software for the printing-industry.  In 2004 we successfully launched our own product called Salutem which enabled users to create and send real greeting cards via the web. Which was quite a new thing back in the day. In 2006 started working as a Java developer for a reverse logistics company. Adding new code to the core system and extending it with custom made modules. In 2007 I started daveligthart.com to offer my services as a freelance all-round web developer (Flash, Java, PHP). During that time I came in contact with WordPress while working for clients and got hooked on it. Since then I grew a deep respect and understanding for WordPress because of the large community, huge amount of plugins and the user friendliness.

    Hello Dave,
I am getting the white page of death with my WP installation. About five days ago, I did a server to server migration using plesk cpanel. Everything went okay. Just last night, I can’t view or access the cp for the main domain http://www.121mediasolutions.com nor any subsite. All I get is the white screen of death. Sites have been down for 15+ hrs now, I’ve been up all night trying to figure it out – with no luck.

I can ftp into the server and can see ALL the files there, so I’m thinking that there must be some small file issue somewhere but I don’t know where to begin.

Looking for some direction, I’ve reviewed and looked through several posts relating to this issue, but they don’t seem to have the same problem as me. If you can help me I would be willing to pay for you time. I would really appreciate any help I can get. Need to get the site back online! Thanks!

    Hi Dave,

I tried unsuccessfully to locate an email address for you but I found this page so I’m leaving you a message here. I am using your WP Stats on my WP site but I am getting the following error message on the screen area titled “Stats – Social Media Metrics”:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 3435555 bytes) in [mydirectorypathishere/wp-content/plugins/wp-stats-dashboard/classes/util/Services_JSON.php on line 466

    Please advise.

    Thanks,

Version 2.5.3 conflicts with the default theam Twenty10. With your plugin active both visual and code views display code, the visual view is disabled.

Also, when I loaded the API, I linked it to the API on the amymeier.wordpress.com blog to migrate stats to the new blog. The old blog api is in but I don’t see the old stats or the subscribers and I no longer see the subscribers in the old blog either …

How do I get my subscribers back and where are their accounts now?
    Thank you for your attention.

    hey

i need a plugin that appears when a user clicks on a post from a certain category, “Exclusive” cat. When they goto the post, a dark overlay appears showing a popup that says they must share/like on fb or tweet before they can view the content.

untill they do this they cant view the content, and if they close the box then they go back a page.

once they share etc they can view the content and wont need to do that again untill the next day.

A quote on this plugin would be great.. thanks

I have a WordPress site and need some tweaks. This involves minimal design changes, making my portfolio password-protected, upgrading to the latest version of WordPress, making some portfolio items downloadable, and a few other items. Please let me know if you’d be able to take this on and what your rates are.

    Thanks,
    EB

I have installed your plugin WPSD but i can’t seem to get an API key. I have installed wordpress on a hosted server and don’t know where to find or get the plugin. Could you please let me know how to do this as my client is waiting to get stats for his wordpress website.
    Thank you.
    Victoria
